This workshop is designed to teach law enforcement and support personnel how to legally utilize and exploit social media intelligence in their current assignments. Students will learn the most current case law that allows them to use these techniques in their investigations. Students will also learn how to set up an undercover account in order to covertly collect data to further their investigations. It is highly recommended that attendees bring their laptops or tablets to participate in this interactive presentation so they can follow along online with the instructor. Electrical outlets will not be available so be sure your device is fully charged..

Upon completion, participants will be able to analyze photos in order to collect intelligence.
Upon completion, participants will be able to compare intelligence located on the social media platforms and cross-reference these intelligence points with open source tools.
