A deluge of digital video files containing CSAM is shared daily. When these videos are identified in investigations, the source device that transmitted/created them is rarely uncovered due to technical limitations in analyzing video files. This presentation will highlight a new approach to identifying the source make/model of transmitted video files, even those shared through social media and the cloud. Special attention will be paid to identifying CSAM production on digital devices.
