In the past two years, NCMEC has made significant technical and operational workflow changes to improve the response to CyberTipline reports received from companies and members of the public. These enhancements include a redesign of the internal CyberTipline architecture to support new deduplication and deconfliction efforts for suspect and child identifiers, new workflows for reported CSAM review and file prioritization, and new dedicated teams within NCMEC for focused report processing and implementation of report auto-referrals for ICAC’s. This presentation will provide an overview of these changes and demonstrate through case examples how law enforcement has benefited from these improvements.
