With an eye toward prosecution, presenters Mary-Ann Burkhart (seasoned prosecutor) and Jerri Sites (seasoned expert witness) provide insight on the "Do's and Don'ts" of child abuse investigations. At times, due to high caseloads, child abuse professionals find it necessary to cut corners during their investigations. This workshop will focus on the necessary steps for a thorough investigation that will hold up in court, and ultimately, make court preparation and testimony less stressful for everyone involved.
