Are we collecting all of the location data we should to corroborate who was or was not at a crime scene? What type of location data is available from cellular service providers (CSPs) and internet service providers (ISPs)? In this workshop, attendees will review business records from a variety of CSPs and ISPs and learn how to analyze the business records so they can identify other identifiers that can be used to follow up with other CSPs or ISPs for more location records and hidden accounts associated with their investigation. Attendees are encouraged to bring business records from CSPs or ISPs they have questions about to allow discussion of items of interest that will guide them to more location data. It is highly recommended that attendees bring their laptops or tablets to participate in this interactive presentation so they can follow along online with the instructor. It is suggested that attendees have the following software on their device: SnapChat, TrueCaller, CashApp, Venmo, Paypal, and Google Pay. Electrical outlets will not be available so be sure your device is fully charged.
