Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization created to empower abused children by lending them the strength and physical presence of their members. This interaction soothes the abused child and helps them to begin the recovery process. The presenters will explain how BACA receives referrals from local and state agencies and works alongside them to help keep the child relaxed, distracted, and entertained while they await their day to testify in court. The discussion will discuss how BACA can assist your agency with court accompaniment to court appearances when the child would benefit from their presence. BACA works hard to build and maintain professional relationships with both abused children and the agencies affiliated with their organization. Attend this workshop and learn how and why your agency can partner with BACA.
