This presentation discusses a true story of a child left behind due to witnessing the murder of her mother by her father and then his suicide. The presenter will discuss in detail the unfolding of finding out what led up to the tragedy and how she overcame it; past, present, and future. This workshop is aimed at professionals working with teenagers and adults suffering from childhood trauma, so they can be successful in their programs, whether it be, probation, bond, court program, etc. The resources and skills discussed here have been used to the improve the long-term success of clients.
