Participants will learn how to properly prepare for and execute an effective cross-examination of the defense expert. Learning objectives include preparation for the cross-examination prior to trial, effective cross-examination techniques, application of the facts of the case to the evidence and law, and practical examples to help illustrate difficult concepts to the jury. The presentation will include video clips from actual cross-examinations to provide real-life examples of how to execute the techniques learned. While the examples will be from physical abuse cases, the lessons can be applied to any type of defense expert.
Learning Objectives:

Apply cross-examination tools to effectively question the defense expert.
Understand how cross-examination techniques can be effective by observing video clips from a real trial.
Utilize the information gained from the cross-examination to zealously argue your case in closing arguments.
