Online child exploitation has exploded throughout the U.S. and around the globe. These numbers have dramatically increased during COVID and the effect of Internet safety presentations has a limited impact. This presentation will focus on the science and art of grooming and manipulation through the use of technology along with strategies that members of Darknet chat forums use to lure children. Predators are able to mimic children's language and style among their other advanced grooming techniques. Lastly, the presenter will discuss actual cases and the methods these Darknet members use.
