Erin R. Pearson, BSN
Erin Pearson earned her bachelors in science degree in nursing from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
She started as a staff nurse in the Intensive Care/Coronary Care Unit at Durham Regional Hospital in 2004. Erin started her career at VMC now ECU Health Medical Center in 2008 as a travel nurse in the MICU and then CVICU. She loved ECU Health Medical Center so much that she signed on full time as a SLAT (service line assist team) for the Cardiac and Critical Care Units. Erin then went to sign on as full time RN for CVICU and became heavily involved in Quality for her unit. This love of Quality led to Erin’s acceptance of the Quality position for the Performance Improvement/Quality Analytics team in 2019. CLABSI and CAUTI are Erin’s primary project areas. Erin has recently been named as NC Great 100 nurse 2022.
Erin has a very active and full daily life with 3 boys, 1 dog, 5 fish and an amazing wife.
