David R. Staskin, MD

David R Staskin MD is an Associate Professor of Urology at Tufts University School of Medicine Boston MA. He has previously served on the faculty of Weill-Cornell (NYPH), Harvard (Beth Israel) and Boston University (BUMC). He completed his fellowship at UCLA (Dr. Shlomo Raz) and his residency at University of Pennsylvania (Dr. Alan Wein). Dr. Staskin has served in the past on the Board of Directiors of SUFU and AUGS. He has served as a member of the first AUA OAB Guideline and as a member and chairperson for the ICI Incontinence Guidelines. Dr Staskin has published over 160 articles on the topics of medical and surgical treatment for OAB and SUI in both female and male patients, neuro-urology, and urodynamics. He is the editor of 5 textbooks including Female Urology and Urogynecology, eds.Cardozo and Staskin 5th edition. Dr. Staskin has multiple device patents in the area of female stress incontinence.
