Dr. Kevin Zorn is a dual-board-certified (US and Canada), minimally-invasive urologist, oncology-fellowship trained at the University of Chicago. His main focus of clinical and scientific interest is in the surgical treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and prostate cancer. Other than his focus on DaVinici robotic surgery for localized prostate cancer, Dr. Zorn is also a national and international surgical trainer for the Greenlight XPS 180W laser and the DaVinci surgical system since 2012. He has also an active trainer from residents to international urologists with integration of simulation experience. He has also been an invited speaker/visiting professor for his academic work on laser therapies and techniques for BPH and robotic surgical management. He was the first in Canada to utilize the latest version of the Greenlight 180W XPS laser for BPH and has pioneered an enucleation-like technique to standardize Greenlight technique. He also has the greatest experience with the daVinci surgical system in Canada.
Aside from his passion for peer-related education and surgical robotic training, Dr. Zorn has published extensively on prostate surgical care with over 255 peer-reviewed papers and 10 book chapters. He has received awards for his clinical work, research and teaching. He is an Associate Professor of Urology at the University of Montreal and has recently founded the BPHCanada Comprehensive Surgical Center to offer all Canadians all treatment option modalities and in a timely fashion for BPH care.
