Dr. Kevin Pranikoff is an Associate Professor of Urology and Rehabilitation Medicine at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biological Sciences, University at Buffalo, State university of New York. He is Chief of the Urology Service, at the Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo. His research interests include neurourology, urinary incontinence and urologic rehabilitation, particularly in spinal cord injured patients. He has had a particular interest in lower urinary tract dysfunction in the geriatric population with its unique challenges. He participated in multicenter clinical trials studying behavioral therapies for stress incontinence in the elderly.Practicing at a level I Trauma Center Dr. Pranikoff also has an interest in urologic trauma and reconstructive urology.
Dr. Pranikoff has also been very active in organized urology having served the Northeastern Section of the AUA in multiple capacities including scientific program chair, Secretary and President. Similarly he served the AUA in multiple capacities over the years most notably on the Section Secretaries Committee, the Education Council, the Judicial and Ethics Council, Core Curriculum Committee, The Male Circumcision Taskforce Steering Committee and the Board of Director from 2009-2013.
