Joel B. Nelson, MD is tje Frederic N. Schwentker Professor and Chairman of the Department of Urology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Nelson’s clinical interest is prostate cancer and his research interest focuses on novel treatments for advanced prostate cancer. For the last seven years, he has been the Chief Clinical Officer, Health Services Division, UPMC. He is now Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer, International Division, UPMC.
