David T. Tzou, MD

Assistant Professor

Dr. David T. Tzou is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology at the Univeristy of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson. He is a board-certified urologist specializing in the treatment of urinary stone disease and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).

He earned his medical degree at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson and completed his residency in urologic surgery at the University of Arizona. He completed a 2-year Endourology and Laparoscopy fellowship at University of California – San Francisco (UCSF).

Dr. Tzou's research interests focus on improving clinical outcomes for patients with kidney stones and BPH, utilizing ultrasound to treat complex kidney stones, and improving communication between patients and physicians. He is an active member of the American Urological Association (AUA), the Western Section of the AUA (WSAUA), and the Endourological Society.
