Peter Chan, M.D., C.M., M.Sc., F.R.C.S.(C)., F.A.C.S. is Professor of Surgery and Director of Male Reproductive Medicine of McGill University Health Centre. He is Past President of the Society of Reproductive Surgeons. Previously, Dr. Chan served as an Executive Board member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and is Past-Chair of their Finance Committee. He has also been serving as Principal and Co-investigator for various research grants funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research focusing on various aspects on men’s health. He is a four-time recipient of the Everett Reid Award of Excellence in Teaching in Urology at McGill University. For his work in promoting men’s health to the general public, Dr. Chan received the Outstanding Contribution Award from the Prostate Cancer Network Canada and the Award of Generosity from the Cedars Cancer Foundation. He is Co-Editor of the latest edition of the Andrology Handbook published by the American Society of Andrology. He is currently an advisor of the Institute of the Gender and Health of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research.
