Dr Max Kates is Assistant Professor of Urology and Oncology and Director of the Bladder Cancer Program in the Brady Urological Institute at the Johns Hopkins Medications Institutions. Dr. Kates’ research interest parallel his clinical practice, with an emphasis on novel treatments for cancers of the urinary tract. He has a particular interest in developing therapies for bladder cancer through clinical trials and in the lab, and in identifying biomaekrs that can help clinicians guide bladder cancer decision making.
