Dr Arthur L. (Bud) Burnett is the Patrick C. Walsh Distinguished Professor of Urology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He received his AB degree in Biology from Princeton University and MD and MBA degrees from Johns Hopkins University. His post-graduate training in general surgery, urology and reconstructive urology and urodynamics was performed at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Burnett is Director of the Basic Science Laboratory in Neuro-urology of the James Buchanan Brady Urological Institute and Director of the Male Consultation Clinic, and he is Director of the Sexual Medicine Fellowship and Reconstructive Urology Fellowship Training Program in the Department of Urology at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions. Dr. Burnett specializes in sexual medicine, major pelvic reconstruction, voiding dysfunciton, female urology and prostate cancer. He has written more than 400 orginal peer-reviewed articles and 50 book chapters relating to his biomedical research and clinical activities.
