Rikiya Taoka, MD, PHD

Rikiya Taoka is Senior Lecturer of the Department of Urology at Kagawa University in Japan. He graduated from Kagawa University and obtained Medical License in 2001, and received his Ph.D. degree from the Graduate School of Medicine at Kagawa University by elucidating the Inflammatory Mechanism of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia in 2005. For 2-year from 2013, he studied the cancer biology of urothelial carcinoma as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. His research work has led to many Publications and Awards (JUA Annual Meeting Award 2004, West JUA Annual Meeting Award 2015 & 2020).
