I have worked with the University of Florida Department of Urology since November 2018, contributing to research projects consisting of renal stone prevention, bladder cancer identification, CRISPR gene editing, and 3D model creation for gel electrophoresis. I was most recently selected for the Endourology Society Summer Student Scholarship in 2021, and contributed to a project regarding the degrading effects of the enzyme oxalate oxidase on the renal stone-causing compound, oxalate, within several commercial teas.
