Fayez T. Hammad, MD

Prof. Fayez Hammad currently works as a Professor of Urology at the United Arab Emirates University. Prof Hammad is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians of Glasgow and Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He obtained his PhD from the University of Otago (New Zealand). During his career, he obtained several prizes such as John Hubbard Memorial Prize from the Physiological Society of New Zealand and Abu Dhabi Medical Distinction Award. He has published in several high-impact peer-review journals and he is the Program Director for the only Urology Residency Training Program in the UAE. Prof Hammad practices as a consultant Urologist mainly at Tawam Hospital/Johns Hopkins international with a main interest in endourology and laparoscopy.
