Dr. Courtney Rowe is a pediatric urologist and translational researcher with an interest in media and innovative technology.
In her clinical role at Connecticut Children’s, she serves as the Director of the Reconstructive Urology Program and the Co-Director of the Connecticut Children’s Continence Program. In her lab at the University of Connecticut Health Center, she seeks to transform healing after urologic reconstructive surgery using translational research and improved outcomes metrics.
With her pre-medical school background as an interactive media artist, Dr. Rowe is enthusiastic about all forms of media and technology. When she is not seeing patients or in the lab, you can find her lecturing on social media use for physicians or hosting family-centered videos on pediatric urology through the “Don’t Freak Out” series.
