Zoe D. Michael, MS currently works with Dr. Thomas J. Polascik, MD FACS and his team as a research fellow in the Division of Urology at the Duke Cancer Institute in Durham, North Carolina. She previously received her M.Sc. degree in biomedical sciences from Duke University in 2021. While applying to medical school, she is working to develop tools to become an effective researcher and gain valuable knowledge and experience at national meetings. Her current research interests are in the field of urologic oncology, with a focus on prostate cancer and the optimization of screening practices to better risk stratify patients and identify those with clinically significant disease.
