My sub-speciality is neurourology, urodynamics, reconstructive and functional urology. I have served as a neurourology consultant to the Spinalis SCI clinic in Stockholm for more than twenty years.
My research at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm has focused on urological complications after spinal cord injury and minimally invasive treatments of incontinence, particulary botulinumtoxin treatment in various patient groups and bulking treatment of stress urinary inconctinence.
My clinical work is focused on the examination and treatment of functional and neurourological conditions such as incontinence, pelvic pain, infectious and inflammatory disorders, neurogenic lower urinary tract dysfunction (NLUTD). This includes urodynamics, neuro-physiology and other aspects of work-up, minimally invasive treatments such as botulinumtoxin injections and sacral neuromodulation, and reconstructive surgery.
