H. Henry Lai, MD
Dr. Lai is Associate Professor of Surgery (Urology) and Anesthesiology at Washington University School of Medicine. He is a clinician-scientist with basic and clinical research focus on lower urinary tract dysfunction including interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrome (IC/BPS) and overactive bladder (OAB). He is currently the PI of NIDDK grants studying IC/BPS, OAB and stone disease. He has authored over 70 papers in basic, translational, and clinical research in these areas. He was the recipient of the Rising Stars in Urology Research Award from the AUA in 2014, and the Paul Zimskind Award from the Society of Urodynamics, Female Pelvic Medicine and Urogenital Reconstruction (SUFU) in 2015.
