Malte W. Vetterlein, MD, FEBU, is an Assistant Professor of Urology at University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE), Germany. He is head of the institutional Reconstructive Urology Research Unit and member of the Trauma and Reconstructive Urology Working Party of the European Association of Urology (EAU) Young Academic Urologists (YAU).
Dr. Vetterlein's research focuses primarily on urethral reconstruction and complication reporting in urological surgery. His publications include over 95 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters.
Dr. Vetterlein received his medical degree from the University of Würzburg, Germany, and completed his residency training in urology at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf.
