Christian Habib Ayoub, M.D, research fellow in the American University of Beirut Medical Center, Beirut, Lebanon, division of Urology. I completed my medical degree in the University of Balamand in Lebanon in 2021. During my medical internship I discovered my passion for the field of Urology as I rotated in the aforementioned department. I was impressed by the importance of urologic care and how it helped improve patients' quality of life. I have witnessed first hand how urologic physicians were able to save lives and solve life imparing problems. For this reason I fell in love with the field. I also was intrigued by the technological advancement of urologic surgical care. Urology is one of the most technologically advanced surgical fields, with robotics and endoscopic equipment becoming the bread and butter of everyday urologic care. I hope to one day become a successful urologic primary care provider and contribute to new techonological advancements and help in improving people's lives.
