Dr. Alexander Glaser is a board-certified urologist at NorthShore University HealthSystem and serves as Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Colgate University, then went on to medical school at Northwestern University, where he also completed his surgical training in urology. Dr. Glaser specializes in minimally invasive surgery, with a particular emphasis on the treatment of men with lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). His current research work includes measurement of patient-reported outcomes for men with LUTS as well as translational work investigating the role of genetics and immune cell infiltrate in the development of BPH/LUTS.
