Cassra B. Clark, MD

Dr. Clark is a 2021 Sidney Kimmel Medical College Graduate and he subsequently joined the Department of Urology at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University as a Research Fellow. He is a graduate of the University of Washington in Seattle in 2011 with a BS in biology. He then went on to Tulane University and earned a Master’s in medical genetics and genomics from 2013-2014. He has previously worked in the Seattle Children's Research Institute in their therapeutic cell production core involved in the development of CAR-T immunotherapy for a variety of a pediatric malignancies. Much of his research work this year has focused on the VPAC prostate cancer urine detection work in Dr. Thakur’s lab as well as research on HoLEP and urologic oncology. In his spare time, he was able to participate in the 2021 and 2022 Broad Street Run, 2021 Philadelphia Marathon, and 2022 Houston Marathon. He will be starting urology residency at Penn State this summer.
