Dr. Kajal Khodamoradi, Ph.D. is a researcher in Department of Urology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She has completed her Bachelor and Masters’ degree at Shahid Beheshti University, Faculty of Nursing, Tehran, Iran. She received her Ph.D. degree in Reproductive Biology from Tehran University of Medical sciences where she graduated top of her class. She was appointed as a faculty member in Tehran Azad University for 11 years prior to joining the University of Miami.
She has published more than 30 peer-reviewed publications in high prestige journals including JAMA and Fertility and Sterility. Also, she has presented abstracts in more than 40 national and international meetings including Sexual Medicine Society of North America (SMSNA), Endocrine Society (ENDO) as well as the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM).
Her presentation on the role of Leptin in Leydig stem cells in ENDO 2021 was selected as Best Poster in 2021. She has also received @AmerUrological basic science travel award 2021 and the @ReprodMed_SMRU 2021 Traveling Scholar award.
