Dr George Soko is a Zambian medical doctor specialised in Urology and has worked for 11 years in the medical field of practice. He is currently working at The University Teaching Hospital in the Department of Surgey, Urology section, Lusaka Zambia. He is an International member of the American Urology Association (AUA) and the European Association of Urology (EAU). He has interests in Urological research and has one abstract that was accepted for the American Urological AUA 2022 annual congress New Orleans, Louisiana after previously presenting virtually another abstract for AUA 2020 in which work it was found that HIV infection lowers the risk for Prostate cancer and delays onset of castrate resistance. He has another abstract that was accepted for presentation at the European Association of Urology EAU 2020 annual congress in which work he found that serum calcium can be an index of extent of Fourniers' gangrene spread and disease prognostication. He is also one of the presenters at EAU 2022 in Amsterdam. Apart from medical work he is currently a Law student at a local University in his native country. He is also an Economics student with the University of South Africa. He is a Christian, member of the Seventh Day Adventist church. He has a long abiding interest in reading world history and religious affairs. He spends part of his free time practicing long distance running and is a fan of Arsenal FC. He loves good food and lots of laughter
