Dr. Amanda Hird completed a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honours from the University of Waterloo in 2010. She then completed her Medical Degree followed by Residency in Urologic Surgery at the University of Toronto. During this time, she completed a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Epidemiology and Health Care Research. She was awarded a Frederick Banting and Charles Best Canada Graduate Scholarship through the Canadian Institute for Health Research (CIHR) to complete her thesis work. She was also awarded the Claire Bombardier Award for the most promising student in the Clinical Epidemiology and Health Care Research concentration. She is presently completing a fellowship in Urologic Oncology at the University of Toronto and continuing her clinical research.
