I am a motivated researcher at conducting notable independent research into Cancer research and pathogen interaction. Bringing 10 years of experience in the applied field of molecular biology and functional genomics and eagerness to advance knowledge through forward-thinking investigations. I am multi-talented with a good understanding of analytical skills and critical thinking. Passionate and excited to contribute to the base of knowledge in the field. Understand the role of genes, molecular mechanisms, and signaling pathways involved in cancer cell progression.
One of the approaches I address is a component of the cancer stem cell theory concerns how cancers arise or relapse after traditional cancer therapies. For the above, I have used molecular approaches such as; RNA-Seq-His-Seq platform, miRNA microarray-Affymetrix array platform, and others.
To understand the associated signaling pathways in my study, Ingenuity Pathway Analysis (IPA), iPathway, PANTHER (Gene Ontology), and Gene set enrichment analysis (GSEA) was used.
