My name is Allen Enrique Siapno and I am an incoming 4th year medical student from the Charles R. Drew University/David Geffen School of Medicine, UCLA. I completed my bachelors degree at the University of California Berkeley. Currently, I am completing a one-year research fellowship through UCLA's Dean's Leadership in Health and Sciences Scholarship. Through this opportunity, I have developed skills in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, health outcomes research and health services research. I also have extensive experience in organized medicine, where I have held leadership positions in the medical student sections of the California and American Medical Associations. My goal is to integrate my research interests, advocacy, and future clinical practice to advance the healthcare needs of marginalized communities.
