Dr Yasser Osman is a professor of Urology working in the Urology and Nephrology Center in Mansoura University. Being a staff member of the urology department; he shares in clinical as well as academic activities for the last 25 years He started his clinical career by joining the center as a resident in urology in 1994. After finishing his master degree in urology in 1998, he received the title of assistant lecturer in urology. In year 2003, he presented his thesis in the field of renal transplantation to be assigned as a lecturer in urology. In this peroid, dr Osman visited Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic as well as the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in USA as an international scholar. Currently, he is a professor of urology since July 2013. He is also is invited as a renal transplant consultant surgeon in major hospitals in KSA and Libya. Over the past years, Dr Osman shared in more than 100 local and international meeting presenting more than 100 abstracts covering different fields of urology focusing upon the fields of renal transplantation, uro-oncology as well as animal experimentation. He shared in the publication of 85 scientific papers in peer reviewed scientific International journals and shared in the authorship of 3 book chapters. Moreover, Dr Osman is an international reviewer in different international scientific journals in the fields of urology and renal transplantation and he was invited to be an invited guest speaker in several meetings in Europe, Asia & Africa. Dr Osman also shared and directed 45 workshops inside and outside the country by lecturing, performing live surgery and guiding animal laboratory surgeries. Finally Dr Osman is a member of the Egyptian, American as well as the European urological associations and he was honored by receiving 8 different national and international prizes .
