Brenna Briles is a second year medical student at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She earned her bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Texas at Austin where she had the privilege of working with Crane Surgical Services. With the guidance of Dr. Richard Santucci, she developed a passion for gender affirming care and reconstructive urology. Her interest in the field continues to evolve, working on projects in urethral reconstruction and sexual dysfunction. She is passionate about addressing inequities in health and currently serves as an Albert Schweitzer Fellow, where she leads a project that provides maternal health education at two county hospitals.
