Dr Pankaj M Joshi
MS,DNB (Gold Medal),fellowship in Reconstructive Urology
Dr. Pankaj is a University Certified Fellowship trained Genitourinary Reconstructive specialist. He completed master’s in general surgery from University of Mumbai where he secured second rank. He was awarded H S Bhat Gold Medal in the final exit examination conducted by the National Board, Urology (DNB) in 2010.
He has travelled to 25 countries including Europe, USA, South America, Australia, Africa, South East and Middle East Asia as Faculty demonstrating surgery and teaching other urologists.
Dr. Pankaj is passionate about his work, an avid researcher. His has innovated novel technique (MRI in Pelvic fractures) and a device (Penile retractor) which has won prize. His other innovations include Vicryl tackers for quilting in anterior urethroplasty. His work on 3-D printing of Pelvic fracture urethral injuries has won award at the IAUA meeting, Chicago. His new technique in bulbar urethroplasty is becoming popular across the world.
Pankaj won the prestigious IAUA Chakraborty Fellowship for 2018 and visited Cleveland Clinic, USA. He has numerous presentation prizes from urology Society of India .
He has written 16 book chapters to his credit and over 114 Publications in reputed journals. He has contributed to Baileys and Loves textbook of Surgery which is used by students across globe .
He is a faculty for GURS(Genito Urinary Reconstructive Urologists And Maharashtra University Fellowship program in Reconstructive Urology. He was elected as Board of Directors of GURS He currently serves as Hon. Secretary of International Society of Reconstructive urology, largest society of Reconstructive urologists of world.
Dr Pankaj Joshi’s specialty include stricture, hypospadias, pelvic fracture urethral injuries, artificial sphincter, management of erectile dysfunction, insertion of Penile prosthesis.
