Mr Paolo Umari was Born in Trieste (Italy) on 13th June 1984. In 2010 he achieved degree in Medicine and Surgery at University of Trieste (110/110 and First Class Honours). In 2011 he started Residency program in Urology at University of Verona under supervision of Prof. W Artibani and finished it in June 2016 (110/110 and First Class Honours). From September to December 2015 he completed a fellowship in laparoscopy and retroperitoneoscopy under supervision of Prof. Jens J. Rassweiler with EUSP (European Urological Scolarship Programme) at SLK Kliniken, Department of Urology (Heilbronn, Germany). From January to November 2016 he completed a clinical fellowship in robotic surgery under supervision of Dr. Alexander Mottrie at OLV Hospital, Department of Urology (Aalst, Belgium) and achieved the ERUS Curriculum Certification. Since 2016 he become Official trainer at ORSI Academy in Melle, Belgium. Meantime he partecipated as speaker, provoker and trainer at more than 50 national and international congresses and scientific meetings in the field of urology and andrology and has supported several specialistic lectures in the context of courses and masters of urology. He presented more than 50 abstracts during annual scientific meetings organized by most important national and international urological societies. Participated in more than 700 urologic procedures and became autonomous in main endoscopic operations (TURB, TURP, URS) and minor open surgery. Took part in considerable number of major open, laparoscopic and robot assisted surgeries as assistant and has overcome the learning curve of main steps of the most common urological interventions as first surgeon. Since 2017 he was hired as Consultant Urological Surgeon at University of Eastern Piedmont, Department of Urology, Maggiore della Carità Hospital, Novara (Italy), Chief Prof. A. Volpe.
