Gregory Auffenberg is a urologist and the co-director of the Urology of St. Louis Cancer Institute.
Prior to joining Urology of St. Louis, Dr. Auffenberg completed his medical school and urology residency training at Northwestern University. He then completed a three-year fellowship through the Society of Urologic Oncology at the University of Michigan and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He was on the faculty at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine for three years prior to joining Urology of St. Louis.
Dr. Auffenberg's clinical interests lie across the entire field of urologic oncology. Dr. Auffenberg is interested in clinical quality improvement, understanding treatment variation across populations, and exploring ways to leverage analytics and technology to provide physicians and patients with further insights into patterns of care. He is the chair-elect of the AUA's quality improvement and patient safety committee.
