Amanda Saltzman, MD is an assistant professor at the University of Kentucky (UK). She grew up in Toronto, Canada. After completing her undergraduate degree at McGill University in Montreal, she attended Tulane University for medical school. She completed her residency in urology at the combined Louisiana State University/Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans. She went on to train in pediatric urology at the University of Colorado in Denver, specifically focusing on urologic oncology in children, adolescents and young adults. At UK she serves as the director of the oncofertility program at the Markey Cancer Center and the multi-disciplinary differences in sex development (DSD) clinic. Her research focus centers on urologic oncology and her clinical focus includes urologic oncology, DSD and laparoscopy/robotics.
