Aqsa Khan, MD, Assistant Professor and Consultant in the Department of Urology at Mayo Clinic Arizona, was raised in Arizona. She attended college at the University of Pennsylvania and obtained her medical degree at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. She completed her general surgery internship and urology residency at the University of California Los Angeles in 2013 and her fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS) at New York University in 2015. She began as faculty at the Mayo Clinic Arizona in the Department of Urology in 2015. Her current practice includes primarily treatment of patients seeking care for lower urinary tract and pelvic floor dysfunction, including conditions such as urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, fistula, voiding dysfunction, neurourology, and general urology. She conducts research in these conditions as well as in education research. She also serves as Associate Program Director for the urology residency and as the Director of Student Wellness for the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, travelling, and enjoying the beautiful weather in Arizona.
