Nurse Practitioner
Augusta University
Lynn Allmond is a native of Ohio, having made the Augusta area her home for the past 29 years. Lynn has been serving as a Nurse Practitioner for Augusta University for the past 21 years. She is currently employed with the Department of Surgery-Urology, & previously worked in Gynecology/Gyn Onc. She spent her nursing years in the ICU.
Lynn earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Bowling Green State University in 1985, & her Master of Science degree from Ohio State University in 1990. She then completed her Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of South Carolina in 1997.
She is a member of the United Advanced Practice Registered Nurses of Georgia, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Urologic Association. She currently sits on the AU Credentials committee & the Physician Informatics committee at her local institution, & acts as a liaison for the hospital in many aspects of APP practice. She is a member of the Advanced Practice Membership committee for the AUA. When she’s not working, you’ll find her running, playing tennis, doing Jazzercise or working at her retirement farm.
