Dr. Enemchukwu, MD, MPH, FACS, FPMRS is an Assistant Professor of Urology at Stanford University School of Medicine. She serves as the Medical Director of the Stanford Multidisciplinary Pelvic Health Center and the Department of Urology's Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. She graduated from Duke University and subsequently earned her combined degree in Medicine (MD) and Public Health (MPH) at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and Gillings School of Global Public Health. She completed her Urology training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and went on to complete a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery with concurrent training in Male Voiding Dysfunction and Neurourology at NYU Langone Medical Center. Dr Enemchukwu's research interests are in the areas of urinary incontinence and overactive bladder. Her research focuses on improving health care delivery and patient access to therapies especially in vulnerable patient populations (underserved and frail/elderly) in order to improve health equity and outcomes. She also serves on Young Society of Urodynamics, Female Pelvic Medicine and Urogenital Reconstruction (SUFU) Committee, SUFU DEI Taskforce, and on the Editorial Board for the Journal of Urology, Neurourology and Urodynamics and the Urology Times.
