Dr. Samson's clinical and academic interests focus on optimizing strategies for prevention of kidney stone disease and developing innovative surgical techniques for treating complex kidney stones.
Dr. Samson earned his medical degree at the State University of New York at Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He completed his general surgery internship and urology residency at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell in New Hyde Park, NY, and then went on to complete a fellowship in Endourology and Minimally Invasive Surgery at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Clinical Urology in the Department of Urology at Weill Cornell Medical College. HIs practice is based in New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist and Lower Manhattan Hospitals.
