Amit Patel MbChB, FRCS(UROL)eng is the Director of robotic surgery at the Vattikuti Urology Institute, Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital and Detroit, Michigan. He received his medical degree from the University of Birmingham, UK and did his urology residency London at the Imperial College NHS Trust and the Royal Marsden Hospital, UK. He completed a fellowship in robotic surgery and Urologic Oncology at Henry Ford Hospital before the faculty at the Vattikuti Urology Institute.
Dr. Patel has a clinical and research interest in minimally-invasive treatments for kidney, prostate, and adrenal tumors. He has presented nationally and internationally about urological oncology and has won national and international awards for those presentations.
