Puneet Sindhwani, MD, serves as Chairman of the Department of Urology and Transplantation at the The University of Toledo’s College of Medicine and Life Sciences. He was also awarded the prestigious Kenneth A. Kropp, MD, Endowed Professorship of Urology. He is also Academic Chief at the affiliated ProMedica Toledo Hospital. He is Director of Transplant and donation science program and serves on the board of Life Connection of Ohio.

He earned his medical degree from Government Medical College, Patiala, India, and completed his residency in urology at the Medical College of Ohio (now The University of Toledo Medical Center) where he also obtained a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences. He has completed his training and obtained Masters in General Surgery degree (M.S.) also. He served as the Chief of Urology at the Overton Brooks VAMC and as faculty member at the LSU Shreveport from 2001-2004. He served as director of the Pediatric and Adult kidney transplant program at University of Oklahoma Health Science Center for nearly a decade. While at OU he was Chief, Section of Andrology and Male infertility and was instrumental in establishing Male Health services in the state.
Board-certified in urology, Dr. Sindhwani’s special interests include male infertility and sexual health, minimally invasive treatments for prostate problems, kidney transplantation, and nutrition and urologic diseases.
