Patrick W. Mufarrij, MD, is a urologist and an Associate Professor with The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences.
Dr. Mufarrij completed his undergraduate studies and medical school at Georgetown University. He then moved to New York City where he completed a six-year residency in Urology at NYU Langone Medical Center. After residency, Dr. Mufarrij pursued special training in endourology and completed a two-year fellowship at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, where he focused on metabolic kidney stone disease, surgery for complex kidney stones, percutaneous renal surgery, and robotic surgery.
Dr. Mufarrij is a published author and has a particular interest in the management of complex kidney stones, percutaneous access for the removal of complex kidney stones, and prevention and metabolic evaluation of recurrent kidney stones.
