Byron Gaing, MD, MRMD, Northwell Health
Dr. Gaing received his medical degree from the Tufts University School of Medicine. He then completed his internship at Flushing Hospital Medical Center in Flushing, NY in medicine and surgery followed by a Diagnostic Radiology residency at Northwell Health's main campus in Long Island, NY. He went on to complete a fellowship in Body Magnetic Resonance Imaging at the New York University Grossman School of Medicine. Upon graduation, he took a position as a staff radiologist at one of the largest private practice groups in the New York Metro area Zwanger-Pesiri radiology where he served for 2 years. Since then, he has joined the Department of Radiology at Northwell Health serving as the Magnetic Resonance Medical Director for the health system. He has a special interest in prostate MRI interpretation and protocol optimization. Dr. Gaing along with his wife and 4 children enjoy family vacations and snowboarding.
