Mathew D. Sorensen, MD, MS, FACS

Dr. Sorensen is an Associate Professor and Residency Program Director in the Department of Urology at the University of Washington School of Medicine. He is a surgeon with a specialty interest in advanced laparoscopy, endourology, and kidney stones. His research interests are focused on developing less invasive ways to detect, size, reposition, and break kidney stones. Dr. Sorensen is a dedicated educator and is responsible for the oversight and leadership of the residency training program, helping it to become one of the best training programs in the country.
