Tomas L. Griebling, MD, MPH is the John P. Wolf 33rd Degree Masonic Distinguished Professor of Urology and a Faculty Associate in the Landon Center on Aging at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, Kansas. He is currently President of the South Central Section of the AUA, and President of the Geriatric Urological Society. He has received the Distinguished Service Award from the AUA (2016) for his years of work and contributions in the field of Geriatric Urology including research, education and clinical care. He is Past-Chair of the Health Science Section of the Gerontological Society of America and serves as an AUA representative to the Council on Surgical and Related Specialties to the American Geriatrics Society. He serves as an Associate Editor for Urology (The Gold Journal) and as the Geriatrics content expert for the Urologic Survey Section for the Journal of Urology, as well as serving on several other journal editorial boards. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), the Gerontological Society of America (FGSA) and the American Geriatrics Society (AGSF), and is certified in Public Health by the National Board of Public Health Examiners (CPH).
